Liebster Award: A little more about me!

Hello beautiful people! So I was nominated for the Liebster Award by the lovely Maffy. Thank you so much girl! I have never heard of the Liebster Award before, but I went to her blog and read more about it. Basically the whole purpose of it is to discover new blogs and get to know each other a little better. So I will answer a few questions and then nominate some people who will also answer some questions that I have for them :-).

The Rules:

The questions:

1. If you were to go to an island alone, what would be the one thing that you would bring with you?

Damn alone? Really? Well, I would bring my boyfriend since I’m allowed one thing. Is that cheating?

2. Winter or summer? Why?

Is this really even a question? SUMMER ALL THE WAY!!! I was born and raised in Senegal, which has tropical weather all year round. So I never experienced winter until I was about 10, and I don’t think that I will ever get used to or ever like winter. I get depressed after the first day of summer because the days start to get shorter and I know that it’s only a matter of time before winter is upon us again. We are currently experiencing the worst winter EVER up here in New England, and scientist say that it’s only going to get worse every year because of global warming. So that’s pretty depressing and I know for a fact that I will be getting the hell out of here as soon as possible!

3. If you were to throw away all your shoes and only allowed to keep one, which pair of shoes would you keep?

This is the worst scenario I have ever read! As a self-diagnosed shoe addict with a massive collection of shoes, that would just never happen. What in the world would make me throw away all of my beautiful shoes and just keep one? What a horrible thought. I can’t even!

4. Dark chocolate or white chocolate?

Dark chocolate because I’m obsessed with chocolate and white chocolate is not real chocolate.

5. What do you want to be in the future?

Well I am currently in my final semester as a classical music (voice) and psychology major. I would love to one day be a huge opera star and perform at all the big opera houses around the world, and I would also love to be a leading feminist psychologist. Let’s also add in there a rockstar astronaut, and of course BEYONCE!!

6. How many kids do you want to have in the future? If not married yet. 

I would love to have 3 children, individually. And by individually, I mean one at a time. I have a real logical fear of having twins because twins run on my mom’s side and my dad’s side. They also run on my boyfriend’s dad’s side and mother’s side. So as you can see, I have a HUGE chance of having twins, and I DO NOT WANT THEM!!! I ache just thinking about it.

7. What’s your dream car?

A black Porsche. Like the one Paris Hilton drives in The Simple Life. Who remembers that show? My best friend and I were so obsessed with that show hahah.

8. What’s your favourite clothing shop?

Right now, I am really digging New York and Company…thanks to my mother.

9. Flats or stilletos?

Stilettos! The end.

10. Sunrise or sunset?

Sunrise because it’s the start of a new day, full of wonderful surprises and opportunities.

    2. What do you mean by worst? I don’t think that there’s nothing worse than Winnipeg winter! Sunday overnight, we’re having -34 degrees plus wind chill of -47 deg. Celsius!! Is there anything more worse than that?! xD
    3. What a crazy question! I can’t live with only one pair of shoes too! I’m a shoeholic..
    6. I’m jealous! I wanna have twins in the future but it doesn’t run in my family, both sides 😦 nor in my boyfriend’s I think, but hey, I’m not losing hope! xD

    1. Hahaha omg no, I am NEVER going to Winnipeg!! I think that I would die, or just refuse to step outside of the house all winter long. That is awful!
      I couldn’t even answer the shoes question hahaha. You crazy girl!
      And how about I pray for you to have twins, and you pray for me not to have twins! That way we each get what we want hahaha. ❤

      1. I don’t wanna live here anymore!! :(( hahah last year, it was in the news that we were colder than North Pole and Mars! Crazy winter!!!

      2. OMG, how do you live? Seriously though, I can’t even imagine. That’s awful!! I bet you guys are the happiest people once summer comes around. I still can’t believe it gets that cold there. That’s why I would never ever ever live in Canada!
        And no twins for me thank you! How do you bounce back after having twins? I’m too small for that hahaha.

      3. The winter is actually crazy this year because we get like -10 or so, which is very rare..global warming perhaps! LOL the usual ranges from -20 to -30s. Very true that Canadians are the happiest people during the summer months, esp. here in Winnipeg.

        Hahah I’m too small and skinny for that too, but whatevs I still want twins. xD
