I will be sharing with you all some of my favorite products from this month. Most of these products have been favorites of mine for quite a while now, but some are newly discovered. Everything is linked, so just click on the name and it’ll take you to a site where it can be purchased. Also, all of my social media outlets are linked at the end of this post, so make sure to follow me to stay up to date on all of my posts! 🙂
This is a recent favorite of mine. I received it in my January Ipsy bag, but didn’t test it out until the end of February. I love it so much that I’ll be purchasing a full size one once this one runs out. It’s basically been my go to daytime moisturizer this month. The moisturizer is a thick gel consistency that blends out so nicely on my skin. It feels lightweight, but moisturizing and definitely not oily, which is a plus for me since I have combination/oily skin. It also leaves my skin feeling baby soft afterwards.
This has been my go to foundation primer this past month. It smooths my skin and minimizes my pores, which is what I look for in a primer. A lot goes a very long way, so I’m sure that this deluxe size will last me a while.
This has been a favorite of mine since I discovered it about a year ago. I especially love it during the winter time because it gives my skin some much needed added hydration. My skin tends to get dry and tight feeling during the winter time, so I usually spray it on after I apply my makeup to eliminate the powder look and give me a much more natural finish. I sometimes spritz it all over my face and neck after applying my night cream before bed to help everything settle in. It’s perfect for all skin types, and smells heavenly!
I know that I’m a little late to join the bandwagon on this one, but better late than never. Boy am I glad that I purchased this beauty. This concealer is so amazing! It’s everything that I look for in a concealer: creamy, easy to blend, medium to full buildable coverage, weightless, hydrating, doesn’t settle into lines after I set with a powder, and long wearing. This has become my go to concealer.
This powder has easily become my holy grail under eye setting powder since I discovered it about a year ago. With my darker skin, I have to be cautious when using a “translucent” powder on my face because a lot of them are in fact not “translucent” and give off a white cast. This one, however, is indeed translucent and does not give off any white cast or flashback in photographs. I use it to set my under eye concealer, and also absorb some oil around my T-zone. It’s amazing and definitely not talked about enough!
This one is another holy grail product of mine. I use it to set my liquid foundations because I have combination/oily skin. It gives me a matte, but not flat finish. It just looks super natural, but covers everything that I need it to cover. It’s super easy to blend and great for everyday use.
I already did a review on this in my Colourpop Collection + Swatches post HERE. Make sure to click the link to check it out 🙂
I love this to set my brows because it has fine fibers that help to fill in brows and give it a very natural look. It has great pigmentation, so if you wanted to use it on it’s own, it would still work to lightly fill in the brows. It’s also long wearing, which is always a good thing because the last thing you want is to look in the mirror and see that your brows have smeared off…ugh.
I say original because I know that they have quite a few shades of this primer. This one is the original matte finish. I love it because it does what I want my eye shadow primers to do. It’s easy to blend out, long wearing, eliminates oils, and keeps my eye shadows from creasing. I could go to sleep with my shadow still on and wake up looking like I never even slept on it. I don’t recommend sleeping in your makeup, but we’re only human and life happens right?
This is another product that I received in an Ipsy bag. I have to say that Ipsy has just been killing it lately. I’ll have my referral link at the end of my post in case any of you guys are interested in trying it out. It’s only $10/month and you can cancel at any time! Anyway, this liner is super pigmented, easy to use, does not smudge, lasts all damn day and night! I love it so much that I went ahead and ordered the full size product a few days ago.
This mascara has been a long time holy grail product of mine and I’m still loving it. I’ve talked about it on a few different occasions, so I’ll just link my review of it HERE with a great drugstore dupe!
This blush palette is amazing! It’s super blendable, pigmented, buildable, and don’t forget affordable.
This palette is so amazing!! Carli did the damn thing! It has 10 eye shadows and 4 highlighters, and I love that she included highlighters for darker skin tones. This palette has been my go to because of these 2 highlight shades. I find myself reaching for it every time I want a highlighter. There is nothing that I own that gives me this much pigmentation in just 1 swipe. Yes, I said ONE SWIPE! This is one swipe across the highlighter and on my skin. It’s so intense and reflective. I always get complimented on my highlight when I wear it…EVERY SINGLE DAMN TIME! I was going to purchase another palette for back up because it is limited edition and I never want to be without these highlighters, but Carli is coming out with the same palette but with more colors in April, so I’ll wait for that one. I cannot rave enough about this palette, it’s just everything and it’s so affordable!
I love the NYX Butter Glosses for the awesome formula. It’s not really sticky, it feels hydrating, and smells super delicious. I’ve especially been loving this color because it’s a lovely warm pinky-brown that’s great for nude and natural looking lips.
This is another Ipsy bag favorite of mine. I’m really picky about my lip balms because I find that so many of them claim to be hydrating, but just end up feeling waxy and don’t sink into the skin to hydrate. This one, however, feels hydrating and smells really fresh. Every purchase of this lip balm also helps fund cleft surgeries for children, which is amazing.
This perfume has been a favorite of mine since I purchased it in December. It has a sexy, musky scent that is subtle, but still there. I absolutely love it as you can see, and will definitely be repurchasing it once I run out.
Those are all my favorites for this month. Can you guys believe that the month is almost over? Is it just me or is 2017 just flying by? Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this post.
